يعدّ التضليل مخالفا للمادتين (7)(18) من قانون المطبوعات رقم (76) لسنة 1972
وأيضا مخالفا للمادتين(1)(2) من القانون رقم (8) لسنة 2002 بشأن حماية المجتمع من الظواهر التي حرمها القرآن الكريم
ومخالفا لقرار الهيئة العامة لرصد المحتوى الإعلامي رقم (4) لسنة 2022
